Dear Bethany Families,

With the devastating wildfires still raging, we have received several questions about how we respond as a school to low air quality.  Please rest assured that we monitor air quality through the San Joaquin County Air Pollution Control District.  When the air is classified as unhealthy, we move all activities, including PE and recess, indoors.  If your child has special heath needs related to air quality, or any other issue, please notify us in the school office so that we can develop a health plan.  Safety is always our number one priority.

Our ASB students, under the direction of Ms. Gates, are busy building a space themed float for Mountain House High School’s homecoming parade scheduled for Friday, October 20th.  The parade starts at Central Park and moves south to Mountain House High School.  Please come out and cheer on Buster and our leadership students as they represent Bethany at this exciting event.

Finally, Please remember that all visitors remaining on campus between 2:10 and 2:55 must sign in and wear a visitor’s badge.  Primary grade students and younger siblings must remain with their parents and are not to disrupt instruction in our upper grade classes.  We appreciate your help in maintaining an appropriate academic environment where all students can learn.

Great things happen at Bethany every day.  Thank you for sharing them with us!

Mrs. Wingo
